Withering is the first step in tea production, the purpose of which is to reduce the moisture in the leaves , soften them, remove the herbal aroma and intensify their aroma. During this process the leaves enter a stage of "natural awakening" and are ready for the next step.

Sunlight wilting : This method uses natural sunlight and a gentle breeze to allow the moisture in the tea leaves to evaporate naturally and gently.
